These slides are the perfect design with a super soft sole cushion, a supportive arch, a deep heel cup, a wide toe box and a durable bottom tread. I’m an older guy who has tried several orthopedic and recovery shoes in the past few years. I like the Velous slides much more than other company’s recovery shoes because these are more durable and the sole curvature conforms to and supports the foot best.

My wife and I live in a surfing town in southern Oaxaca, Mexico part of the year. The stairs down to our main beach are 175 steps each way. Our Velous flip flops are very comfortable, give terrific support and appear to be well constructed. Will report back after another 6 months in game conditions. If they hold up, we will be lifetime customers.

Sooo comfortable and supportive!
The only shoe I’ve ever worn that is nearly as comfortable as these is the Nike Vapor Fly, which are double the price! This shoe is firm with support and not deriving its comfort from being too soft and cushy like Hoka’s. As a result you can wear these all day without the negative effects you experience with comfort shoes.
