Best flies out there. I stand for 10 hours in these fishing in a boat with no problems in feet or back. They are amazing.

Good

I've been searching for a the perfect pair of flip flops ever since my molokinis blew out and the model changed. I've been through Olukai (terrible support) Reef (worse), Rainbow (worst), Chaco (too tight), and Freewaters. But then Freewaters changed to a new design so I found this brand. These Velous flipflops are almost as good as the Freewaters. They would be so much more comfortable if the tops didn't have so much sewing. When I first put them on I thought there was sand in them. I wore them straight outta the bag on a long walk fully expecting to have blisters but as they warmed up, the fabric softened and I was pleasantly surprised. I still feel the rough upper but the bottoms are so supportive and cradle my foot so well that I am going to be wearing these more than I initially thought. I broke my foot a year ago and it has been really hard to find good summer shoes that are supportive. These are so great. I wish they had a nicer upper but I get it; they're made as recovery shoes. My feet are FINALLY happy. :)

Followed suggestions to size up, they're too big. I placed my heel that is in agonizing pain, in the heel cup and walked around my hardwood floor for about 10 mins to see if I could feel any pain relief (so I knew if I needed an exchange or refund) and after those few minutes my feet hurt WORSE in areas I don't even feel the pain in now. Really sad, I wanted these to be my miracle "get out of pain" card, but theyre not.
